Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Police reports no injuries when a car struck a bicyclist  about 3:05-p.m., Tuesday, at the intersection of First Avenue and 8th Street Southeast.

Lt. Robert Opp says the car operated by 47 year old Michelle Baesler of Jamestown was  turning left from 8th Street Southeast on to First Avenue South.

The bicyclist,  67 year old Floyd Nobel of Jamestown was eastbound on 8th Street Southeast, and did not see a directional signal on the Baesler vehicle, and assumed it was going straight instead of turning, and he proceeded straight across the intersection.  The car struck the bicycle at the intersection.
