Bismarck  (CSi)  The Association for Career and Technical Education has announced it will join the North Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education to host town hall meetings Tuesday in Oakes and Valley City.

The meeting in Oakes will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Southeast Region Career & Technology Center, 924 S 7th St., and the meeting in Valley City is at Sheyenne Valley Area Career & Technology Center, 801 Valley Ave. SE.

These meetings will highlight the importance of career and technical education to growing North Dakota’s economy and workforce in the 21st century and its implications at the local, state and nation levels. Speakers at the town halls will include local career and technical education officials; Rick Ross, executive director of North Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education; and Jarrod Nagurka, advocacy and public affairs manager for the national Association for Career and Technical Education.
