Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The 2012 Salvation Army’s Campaign fell $16,000 short of its goal, of $146,000.
Lt. Mitch Brecto says the kettles were higher in donations from the year before, while mail and other donations were down.
$66,782 was collected from kettle donation
The Jamestown Salvation Army was given a gift of a card in the mail from “Santa” with 10 $100 bills along with an anonymous check for $9,000 in a kettle.
The 2012 campaign was the first year donations could be made with a credit card online.
