veterans-band-one-25webValley City  (CSi)  The Red River Valley Veteran’s Concert Band  will perform twice on Thursday October 13, 2016 in Valley City.

At 6:30-p.m., the band will perform at Sheyenne Care Center, then at 8:10-p.m., and VCSU’s Vangstad Auditorium.  All performances are free of charge.

The all-volunteer, non-profit concert band whose mission it to promote patriotic music.  While patriotic music is included in every performance, the band’s music is not limited to marches and anthems.  Audiences hear Broadway show tunes, T.V. theme songs, big band swing, Dixieland, rock and roll, and other great music.  The band often features vocalists from within the organization.  Above all, an entertaining performance is the goal of the band.

The concert is free and the band invites everyone to enjoy an evening of great musical entertainment.

The band especially invites our military service men and women, for a Special Tribute given to them at each performance.
