The Young Professionals of Jamestown recently presented CSi – Cable Services, CSi Computers, CSi TV 10, and CSiNewsNOW.com – with the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month Award.
The award recognizes a business that employs local professionals of all ages, provides a consistent, superior customer experience, actively engages in the Jamestown community, demonstrates exceptional growth through innovation, and product and service development.
Nominations are submitted by members of the community. The nomination for CSi read in part:
“For over 30 years, CSi has been a leader in the community by enhancing community business, providing good jobs, and supporting the nonprofit and volunteer community… their support and connection to business continues. And they continue to provide an array of unique and important service functions to the rural community of business.
CSi is more than a cable company. They are the guardians of history and the Franklin School, they are archivists as they document and share community events, they work diligently to share news and happenings through the Wayne Byers Show, and they provide much needed tech support for small businesses. CSi is the pure definition of what it means to be a local community business.”
The award provides recognition throughout the month and as a Business of the Month recipient, CSi will be considered for the Business of the Year award which is given out at the annual Chamber banquet in January.
