EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Kai (KY’) Forbath is the new kicker for the Minnesota Vikings. He replaces Blair Walsh who was cut after missing four PAT’s against the Redskins. Forbath, who has agreed to a contract with the Vikings, kicked for New Orleans in 10 games last season after being let go by Washington. Forbath made 87 percent of his field goal attempts in three-plus seasons for the Redskins, the second-best rate in team history.
Between the Redskins and Saints in 2015, Forbath went 10 for 15 on field goals and 35 of 36 on extra points.
