Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Jan 21, 2013) — Cold weather failed to dampen the enthusiasm and excitement, as over 150 individuals from across North Dakota participated in the 2013 North Dakota Winter Special Olympics, last Friday and Saturday, in Valley City.

2013 was the second consecutive year Valley City and the area hosted the winter games.

Competition included Unified Team Handball, Cross Country Skiing, Alpine Skiing, and Snow Shoe racing.
