VC Man charged in December rollover crash

Valley City  (CSi)  Stemming from a December 30, 2016, rollover crash that injured three people, a 21 year old Valley City man is charged with three counts of felony Criminal Vehicular injury and DUI.

21 year old William Weatherford, of Valley City lost control of his vehicle in the crash on Barnes County Road 38,  near Litchville, about 1:40-a.m.

The vehicle entered the ditch rolling several times, ejecting Weatherford and three other occupants.

The occupants received  spinal injuries, broken bones and other injuries. A third passenger suffered a lacerated spleen and other injuries in the crash.

Weatherford was  treated for injuries at the hospital and released.

He was arrested on January 9, 2017.

He is scheduled to appear in court on January 24^th, in Barnes County.

Authorities responding to the crash including the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office,  were Litchville First Responders, and Kathryn First Responders.
