Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Public School Board this month was updated on a progress report concerning the Citizen’s Advisory Committee’s recommendations on the status of school facilities.
Superintendent Rob Lech said the Citizen’s Advisory Committee is touring buildings and reviewing reports in order to make a recommendation to the School Board for facility and educational adequacy needs. The work includes input on a 10-year capital maintenance plan for all school facilities that includes plans for new boilers, air circulation systems and windows.
At Monday’s meeting, Board President Roger Haut suggested putting photos from the facility tours online so the public can view what needs to be done in a virtual tour.
The meeting was recorded by CSi 10 The Replay Channel, with replays starting Tuesday.
