Valley City (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, two Valley City people were injured in a rollover west of Valley City Saturday April 8.
34 year-old driver Joshua Brouse and 32 year-old Kristine Brouse, of Valley City, were pulling an unloaded flatbed trailer westbound on I- 94 near mile marker 290, a mile west of Valley City. As Brouse passed another vehicle a strong wind gust blew the trailer to the side, causing the vehicle to lose control.
The vehicle and trailer slide into the north ditch where it overturned multiple times. Neither occupants wore seat belts. The driver suffered minor injuries. The passenger was ejected, suffering serious injuries.
Both were transported to the hospital in Valley City. Kristine was later flown to a Fargo Hospital. They were both not wearing their seatbelts.
