Jamestown  (CSi)  At Monday’s Jamestown Public School  Board meeting the School Board approved:  An amended the weapons policy to state that “No student will knowingly possess, handle, carry, or transmit any firearm or weapon on school property.”

In other business, Superintendent Robert Lech said school bus transition that was originally held at Wilson Arena will be moved to the Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC).

He thanked officials with TRAC, the University of Jamestown and the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department for working with the school district to make the transition.

The school district will continue with total school busing routes service for them, and is considering cutting routes as necessary.
