
Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police continues to investigate what is termed as an accidental shooting in Jamestown that occurred Tuesday evening.
Lt. Robert Opp confirms that police were called to the 1100 block of 12th Street Southeast at 11:09-p.m.
The call from a 27-year-old Jamestown man indicate that he had accidentally shot himself in the leg with a handgun.
He was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, and later flown to a Fargo hospital, for treatment.
Foul play is not suspected, however alcohol may have been a factor.
No name is being released as the investigation continues.
