Bismarck, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Feb 19, 2013) — The NDDOT is informing motorists that construction has begun on Highway 26 at Ashtabula Bridge near Sibley.
Work on the project will consist of replacement of the bridge structure, hot bituminous pavement, rip rap and other improvements.
During Construction:
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction zone
A stop bar, stop lights and warning sign will be in place to direct traffic
There will be a 12 foot width restriction through the construction zone
Speed will be reduced through the construction zone
Motorists should expect minimal delays
The project is expected to be complete by the end of October.
The traveling public should use caution when driving through the construction zone. Motorists are reminded to please slow down for their safety and the safety of the highway workers.
