Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Feb 20, 2013) — A Stutsman County resident, has generously donated 320-acres of land valued at $900,000 to the James River Valley Library System.
The donor wishes to remain anonymous.
The gift is to be used toward a new library or expansion of existing facilities, or possibly purchase the former Jamestown Essentia Clinic site, if it’s still available, which would need approval by the Jamestown City Council, and Stutsman County Commission.
Library Board members have challenged the community to match or exceed the donation.
The board is looking into whether to hire a developer, possibly Bill Kennedy, when his position at Ave Maria Village is over.
