Duke holds top spot AP men’s college basketball

NEW YORK (AP) — Duke remains No. 1 in The Associated Press men’s basketball poll, but Arizona is nowhere to be seen.

The 8-0 Blue Devils picked up all 65 first-place votes following comeback wins over Texas and Florida in the PK80 Invitational over the weekend.

The Wildcats had been No. 2 before falling out of the poll with three straight losses at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Kansas is the new No. 2 team, followed by Michigan State, Villanova and Notre Dame.

The Gators moved up one spot to sixth, ahead of Kentucky, Wichita State, Texas A&M and Miami.

The AP women’s poll still has UConn as the unanimous No. 1 team. Texas is second, followed by Notre Dame, Louisville and South Carolina.
