Jamestown  (CSi)  A garbage truck took out a utility pole Thursday morning just before noon, causing a power outage to the immediate area, at 12th Avenue and 8th Street Southeast in Jamestown.

Otter Tail Power Company Operations Manager in Jamestown, Charles Krebs says Otter Tail crews were on the scene to replace the pole and reconnect service, expected by 6-p.m., Thursday.
