Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Tourism Grant and Executive advisory Board has unanimously approved a $1,200 grant for Dakota Lawn Care Spring Fling Vendor Show to help with advertising expenses. The event will be held on March 24th at the Jamestown Civic Center, the first year of the event.
The business’ owner John Doehler says 12 vendors will display lawn and outdoor project items in the local area.
The application states that an anticipated $500,000 in spending by visitors would bring $10,020 in taxes for the city of Jamestown.
The board also approved a $5,000 grant toward the National Buffalo Museum for the Buffalo Hall of Fame interactive kiosk project.
The Museum’s Director, Ilana Xinos application says the $6,903 project will move the Buffalo Hall of Fame display to another location in the museum, part of a renovation, she said is expected to be completed in April this year.
