Valley City  (CSi)  In a news release, the Valley City- Barnes County Development Corporation announced that Preventice Services, of Houston, Texas says it will establish a remote heart monitoring center, in Valley City, expected to be operational by April 15 this year.

The company provides diagnostic  services to cardiologists  at clinics and hospitals, providing real time information for better patient care.  The company also provides customer facing services, including patient registration and insurance processing.

The company’s President & CEO, Jon Otterstatter says the company has experience 20 percent growth annually, in recent years, adding, “Expanding to Valley City along with our continued employee and facility growth in Houston and California, will provide the resources for us to better serve our increasing patient population throughout the United States.

HR Director, Melanie Arnett add, the priority is hiring the Monitoring  Center Manager, who will serve as the liaison between  North Dakota and it’s other locations, adding “The ideal candidate for this position will have a medical background, preferably and RN or LPN with a bend toward cardiology.”

The Valley City operations will begin with 25 people, with additional hires over the next twelve months.

The next opportunity is the roll out of a training program to develop candidates to be EKG Technicians.
