Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Mar 13, 2013) — Jamestown Public Schools has been recommended for reaccreditation.
Global agency, AdvanceEd made the announcement following an extensive three day examination of the school district.
The re-accreditation comes in the middle of a five-year process review process. The next time the district is up for accreditation will be in 2018.
30 administrators and teachers and five public school board members were on hand for the announcement at the middle school’s Thompson Room, Wednesday afternoon.
The accreditation agency, works with more than 30,000 schools in 70 nations, including all Department of Defense schools, encompassing 15 million students and 3 million teachers.
