Quiet Zone to be re-implemented, maze repairs

Jamestown (CSi)  The City of Jamestown reports that the pedestrian maze at the railroad crossing on First Avenue in Jamestown is expected to be replaced on August 31

^{or no later than Tuesday September 4th}.

At Thursday’s City Council Committee meeting Harold Sad said, once the maze is re-installed, the Quiet Zone, silencing  train horns, will be re-implemented.

The maze was damaged in a traffic crash on June 25^th this year, which meant for safety reasons the train horns will allowed to sound through Downtown Jamestown.
