Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown Public School Board Monday, discussed information from  the North Dakota High School Activities Association  on Jamestown High School football returning to the AAA East Division, beginning with the 2019-20 school year.

The NDHSAA plans  to increase the 14-team AAA division to 16 teams by adding Jamestown and Fargo Shanley.

Superintendent, Rob Lech said, “The plan as presented does not address our specific concerns. The current alignment better suits Jamestown High School specifically, and I believe it is a better plan than shifting teams to different divisions, adding that Jamestown would compete better against similar middle sized schools in the AA ranks.”

The Blue have been competing in the AA Division starting last year.
