Update…

Jamestown, ND  (KCSi-T.V News)  —  The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports, that a single-vehicle rollover accident Sunday (Mar 24, 2013), about 6:15 p.m.,  on Interstate 94 east of Jamestown, caused about $10,000 in damages to a vehicle.  The accident happened at 6:15 p.m. near mile marker 266 on I-94.

16 year old Sterling J. Richard,of Bismarck, was driving a 2001 Ford westbound on I-94 with a passenger 13 year olf Monica Richard, also of Bismarck.

Richard lost control of the car on an icy patch, and the vehicle rolled into the median, flipped over and came to rest on its top in the eastbound lanes.

No injuries were reported.

 Both occupants were wearing  seat belts.

No citations were issued.

I94 between Valley City and Jamestown was slippery in spots in the north lanes due to snow drifting across and sticking to the surface.   Some places had snow sticking to both lanes.   Motorists are cautioned to slow down and not use cruise control.

The Stutsman County Sheriff Department was at an accident in the eastbound lane of I94 after 5pm Sunday March 24, just east of mile marker 266,  six miles east of Jamestown.

A pickup truck was on its top in the passing lane of eastbound I94 and another vehicle was in the median.    Law enforcement and ambulance personnel were on the scene.  No other information was immediately available.
