Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police report a 30 year old Jamestown man was arrested following a pursuit Tuesday afternoon. Assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s office and a citizen, authorities apprehended Kyle Lee Wear following a foot pursuit.
Assistant Police Chief Major Justin Blinsky, says,Wear, was seen at the bottom of Mill Hill by an off-duty police officer at about 3:10 p.m. and officers were called, attempting to apprehend Wear.
A three-block foot pursuit ended in the area ended with police taking Wear into custody behind Lloyd’s Motors.
Wear was taken into custody under bench warrants from Jamestown Municipal Court and Southeast District Court along with suspicion of preventing arrest and suspicion of failure to halt.
He is in custody in the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
Police were assisted by Stutsman County Sheriff’s deputies
The citizen honked the horn on his vehicle pointing our where the suspect was located at the end of the pursuit.
