HOW IT HAPPENED
*The Jimmies managed just seven first quarter points while shooting 2-of-15 from the floor. DWU shot 5-of-13 to lead 15-7 after the first 10 minutes.
*A pair of Kynedi Cheesman free throws gave the Tigers their largest lead of the half, 27-13, with 1:13 in the half. UJ’s shooting didn’t improve in the second quarter, with just two field goal attempts finding their way through the net.
*DWU went up by 16 (37-21) at the 3:46 mark of the third quarter, and once again held Jamestown to single-digit point totals in the period.
*A mini 8-0 run cut the deficit from 48-25 to 48-33 in the fourth, but the early hole in which UJ found itself was too much to overcome.
