Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News (Apr 3, 2013) — The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce, Image & Beautification Committee’s mission is to physically beautify Valley City. The committee has written and been awarded many grants to add trees and other plantings across town.

Currently, the team is working on a five-year plan which includes adding more trees on key boulevards and entrances to Valley City; completing a tree planting west of 13th Avenue SE; maintaining prior tree plantings (including pruning and adding tree protectors) throughout Valley City; installing annually, planters on Main Street and Central Avenue; continuing the Adopt-A-Street clean up project; enforcement of sign ordinances; raising matching funds and completing several beautification/cleanup projects
