Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Regional Medical Center has named a new CEO.

Michael Delfs, a Langdon, N.D., native, will become CEO effective March 1.

He succeeds K.C. DeBoer, who served as CEO from April 2014 to August 2018.

Delfs has several years of medical and medical administration experience in the Upper Midwest. He started his career as a certified nursing assistant and gradually worked his way to CEO, most recently at Mercy Hospital, a critical access hospital in Moose Lake, Minn.

Delfs was interested in JRMC because of its work culture and award-winning care in serving approximately 55,000 people in nine counties, said Patrick Nygaard, chair of the JRMC Board. Jamestown also brings Delfs closer to home and his grandchildren.
