Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Apr 4, 2013) — The Frontier Village Association Board of Directors has hired Colleen Conley as the Frontier Village manager for this summer.
Ms. Conley will work 26 hours per week at a wage of $10 an hour.
She also will work at writing grant applications.
The board also voted to continue to host Pioneer Days this summer without financial participation from the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation.
As reported earlier, the FVA requested a $3,899 grant from BCTF at March 15th meeting to cover event expenses and advertising.
BCTF board members at their meeting decided that Pioneer Day events had generated minimal increases in attendance over normal numbers.
BCTF executive director, Searle Swedlund said the foundation continues to support the Frontier Village, and would consider funding for future projects
