Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News ) — The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports, that a one-vehicle accident on I-94 at 6:15-p.m., Monday (Apr 8, 2013) caused over $15,000 in damage.

The accident occurred, near the east Stutsman County line.

37 year old Jeffrey Ford, of Davison, Michigan was operating a 2004 Chevrolet pulling a travel trailer westbound on I-94 when the vehicle started to slide.

The vehicle and trailer jackknifed going into the north ditch.

The trailer unhitched from the vehicle and turned on its side.

The car was traveling around 30 mph at the time of the accident.

Ford was not injured and he was wearing his seat belt.

Damage was estimated at $15,000 to the car, and no damage estimate was available for the trailer.

No citation was issued.
