The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission released their March, 2013 passenger boarding numbers Friday, showing a statewide increase of over 10% from this time last year. Fargo, Grand Forks and Williston experienced their highest boardings on record, and Bismarck had their best March boardings ever.
“The state’s economic growth in our state is tremendous, and aviation reflects that growth state-wide,” said Larry Taborsky, North Dakota Aeronautics Commission Director.” “With direct flights to new destinations and hubs, North Dakota is more accessible to the world all the time.”
Jamestown’s Boardings in March 2013 were 227, compared to 448 in March of 2012, down 49%
Jamestown Regional airport Manager Matt Leitner said in March this year boarding increased to 227, up from 184 in February this year.
He added that the timeliness factor of Great Lakes Airline flights has improved.
