Jamestown  (CSi)  On Monday the Jamestown Public School Board unanimously approved $453,500 in summer maintenance projects.

School Board members Roger Haut, Diane Hanson and Jason Rohr were not present.

 

This summer’s projects include door and some window replacements along with  chip and sealing at the high school parking lot.  Also on the list is the the replacement of  the external door of Jamestown North School.

Middle school work will include walls and remodeling the second floor restroom  in compliance  with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Slated for replacement is doors and windows  at Louis L’Amour Elementary.

Also planned is work at Ernie Gates Field, including replacement of broken  bleacher planks,along with sections of fence  some shingling to a shed roof.

Also unanimously approved was  the operating agreement for the James Valley Career and Technology Center, providing vocational educational  for students of Jamestown Public School District, Montpelier School District and Gackle-Streeter School District.
