Former Twin Ryan O’Rourke recalled by NY Mets

(AP)  New York Mets reliever Jeurys Familia (jeh-REES’ fah-MEEL’-yuh) has been placed on the 10-day injured list because of a sore right shoulder. Manager Mickey Callaway says Familia informed the team his shoulder was bothering him Wednesday morning, one day after he coughed up a two-run lead in the ninth inning against Cincinnati.  In a corresponding move, the Mets called up left-hander and former Minnesota Twin, Ryan O’Rourke from the Triple-A Syracuse Mets. The 31 year old, O’Rourke, has not pitched in a MLB game since 2016, and did not pitch in 2017 because of Tommy John surgery.
