Wimbledon (CSi) Film crews are at the Peggy Lee Museum, and the former Midland Continental Railroad depot, in Wimbledon, to shoot the pilot for Three Dog Films, new TV series called “Generation Hops,” a television pilot on the emergence of the Craft Beer Industry.
It will first appear on YouTube before being offered to Netflix, Amazon and HBO among other networks.
Producer/Director David Sabbath says, “You appreciate people like Peggy Lee. They were what was hot back in the day.”
Peggy Lee was Born in Jamestown, and she graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1937.
Her career spanned being a musician over six decades, earning her a Grammy for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 1975 Peggy Lee received North Dakota’s the Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Award. She passed away on January 21, 2002.
