Car hits utility pole Sunday in NE Jamestown – pixs

Jamestown (CSi) – Sunday morning Sept 1, a car heading eastbound on 2nd Street NE failed to negotiate the curve and struck an Ottertail utility pole at the corner of 9th Ave NE and 2nd Street NE.   The crash also destroyed a Century-Link equipment enclosure.

The driver, the only occupant, yet to be identified, was taken to JRMC for evaluation.

A crew from Ottertail will begin the work to replace the utility pole after all underground lines have been located.
