Valley City  (VCPS)  Valley City Junior and Senior High School were placed into lock-down last Friday,  for about 20 minutes on Friday, dealing with a student who was not following safe directives.

Junior High Principal Dan Larson says the administrative lock-down procedure was implemented  ensure the safety and integrity of the building.   He says, the situation was dealt with as quickly as possible with the combined efforts of School Administration and School Resource Officer Sean Hagen.
