Valley City  (CSi)  The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning to Barnes County residents concerning phone scammers  targeting Barnes County residents.

If you have contact with a scammer and would like to report the incident, please call the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office at 701-845-8530 or ND Attorney General Consumer Protection Office at 1-800-472-2600/https://attorneygeneral.nd.gov/consumer-resources.

Remember, DO NOT give out personal information such as birth dates, Social Security numbers, addresses and phone numbers.
