Logan Co.  (NDHP)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a single vehicle rollover occurred on Tuesday about 11:30-p.m., on Highway 13 about two miles west of Fredonia claimed the life of a 20 year old Kulm man.

The report 20 year old Garrett Nelson was  traveling eastbound on Highway 13 when his 1988 GMC pickup, started to cross into the westbound lane. Nelson’s vehicle continued through the westbound lane and began to leave the roadway when he overcorrected, lost control of his vehicle causing it to roll over when it entered the south ditch. Nelson was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. No safety restraint was in use at the time of the crash.

He was transported to Wishek Hospital where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Assisting at the scene were, the Logan County Sheriff Office, Mcintosh County Sheriff Office, Kulm Ambulance, and Wishek Police.
