Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The 2013 tourist season will officially open Saturday, May 25, 2013 in North Dakota and Jamestown sites will be among those opening then.
The Stutsman County Memorial Museum in the historic Lutz Mansion will kick off the 2013 season with an old fashioned card party and fry bread, starting at 1 p.m.
According to museum president Harold Sahr, members of the Board of Directors will be on hand to help card players get paired up to play. You can bring your own partner or they will find one for you. This being a social event, players can play their choice of whist, pinochle or bridge.
Museum greeter Charlie Kourajian will be in charge of the fry bread which will be served throughout the afternoon.
There is no charge for the card playing, but a free will offering will be accepted for the fry bread, with proceeds going towards the new gazebo fund.
