– Running of the Pink RM Stoudt to be held June 1

Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The 6th Annual “Running of the Pink,” will be held Saturday June 1, 2013 with a 5k RUN-WALK & 10k RUN at RM Stoudt, 800 23rd St SW, Jamestown, ND. Registration opens 7am. Run starts at 9am. All funds go to to the local Women’s Way Resource Fund, for breast and cervical cancer screening at Central Valley Health District.

On Wednesday’s (May 29, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, our guests from R.M. Stoudt were Jason Holstad, and Tara Kapp. Jason said the event starts at 9am, at the R.M. On Friday May 31^st from 5:30-p.m., to 7-p.m. participants may pick up their packets and t-shirts at R.M. Stoudt. Registration is now…adults $25, children 12 and under $20 and senior citizens 60 and older, $20.

Last year the Running Of The Pink raised over $8,000 with 400 participants.

Jason stressed that all funds raised from the event stays local and goes to to the local Women’s Way Resource Fund, for breast and cervical cancer screening at Central Valley Health District.

Tara added that law enforcement officials will be stationed around the course for traffic control as the runners and walkers course will take them across Highway 281, with the course continuing on depending on the event the participates sign up for. She noted that participants can take along the family, and make the walking part a leisurely family activity.

Jason pointed out that prizes will include the categories of The Largest Family, and the Largest Business Team.
