Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called out Tuesday afternoon about 1:30 (Aug 7, 2012) to a grass fire.

The fire, a controlled burn, was located about one and a half miles north of the Eldridge I-94 exit.

Four units and eight firefighters were dispatch to the scene.

A subsequent fire on a utility pole was put out, with a minimal amount of damage.
