Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News May 29, 2013) — The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a convicted sex offender living in Jamestown.
The report says Eric David Lacey is residing at 403 1st Avenue, North Apt #4 in Jamestown.
He is a 53 year old white male 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 280 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.
Lacey was convicted in March of 2009 in federal court in California after the FBI found him in possession child pornography images on a laptop computer.
His disposition in federal court was 60 months supervised probation.
In November of 2008 Lacey’s disposition was 60 months of supervised probation, convicted in U.S. Federal Court in North Dakota, of Possession of Material-Sex Exploit of Minors, after FBI agents executed a search warrant of Lacey’s Bismarck residence, in 2007.
Lacey is not wanted by police at this time and is currently serving the sentence imposed by the court.
This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.
Attempts to harass, intimidate, or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
