Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Public School District will be working with 153 requests for students to participate in the Jamestown Virtual Academy this upcoming first semester, opting not send their children to class.
Students enrolled in the Virtual Academy will be given a curriculum through the University of Arizona, that allows students to learn outside the classroom similar to what the district did this past spring.
Jamestown School District staff will monitor student progress and assist with the learning process, with courses available at all levels
At Monday’s School Board Meeting, Superintendent, Dr. Robert Lech said families will be contacted in moving forward with the virtual academy.
The first day of classes at Jamestown Public Schools is August 27
