2013 “Ducking Down The Sheyenne” race winners have been announced, sponsored by the Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce,.

First Prize of $500 went to Keith Heuser.

Second Prize of $200 went to Jude Karch.

Third Prize of $100 went to Deverne Hoggarth.

Fourth Prize of $75 went to Lance Jenison.

Fifth Prize, $50to John Protoses.

Sixth Prize $30to Dee Wright.

Seventh Prize $25 to Earl Behm.

Eight and Ninth Place $15 to Debbie Miller.

Tenth Place, Shawntel Thiel $5.

Perfect weather allowed kids of all ages to enjoy the 30th annual Rally In The Valley held June 15, 2013, in Valley City, ND. The morning kicked off with the Bill Jansen Road Race, an arts & craft fair in City Park, and a parade down Central Ave.

The Bridge City Crusiers lined Central & Main with cars of all ages, and the VC Public Library held a Pie & Ice Cream Social.

Games continued in City Park, pausing for the Rubber Duck Race – which worked this year – with the ducks going the right direction at a high rate of speed.

Tire changing, car balancing, burn-out competitions, music, and more activities, plus lots of food, gave everyone something to do.
