Valley City  (CSi)  Valley City Fire fighters responded to a mobile home fire in the Sunrise Trailer Court on East Main Street on Tuesday, about 5:30 p.m., when a report of heavy smoke was called in.

The front of the structure was fully involved in fire, when the units arrived on scene, with the fire contained to that area.

No one was living in the trailer.

Assistant Fire Chief Lance Coit reports that one firefighter sustained a hand injury at the scene and was treated.

 The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
