JacobsonLarryValley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Jun 29, 2013)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, a high speed chase covering 30 miles on I-94  Saturday morning, reaching 130 mph, ended with  the car’s tires spiked and squad cars rammed in Barnes County.

Trooper Troy Hischer reports  the chase started just West of Casselton on I-94 about 11:50-a.m. The car was going 110 miles per hour heading West.

A trooper tried to stop the car, and the driver led the trooper on a 30 mile long chase reaching speeds of 130 miles per hour.

When the Chrysler 300  neared  Valley City a Valley City Police Officer was able to spike the car’s tires. The chase then ended with the driver intentionally ramming his car into two Barnes County squad cars.

24-year-old Larry Jacobson Jr.  of Fargo was arrested for fleeing officers and reckless endangerment. He’s being held in Barnes County Correctional Center.
The Highway Patrol says Jacobson’s car is also suspected to be involved in criminal activity in Fargo Friday night.
