(Sioux City, Iowa) – The quarterfinal round of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Men’s Soccer Tournament, presented by Cypress Risk Management, is complete. The 2020 GPAC Men’s Soccer Tournament was moved to the spring of 2021 because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Top see Morning side and second seed Briar Cliff each moved on with convincing 4-0 wins over eight seed Dakota Wesleyan and seven seed Doane respectively. Hastings, the three seed, picked up the win in a close contest, 2-1 over six seed Jamestown.

The semifinals will be played on Tuesday, April 13, with the finals on Friday, April 16.

The winner of the GPAC Tournament will advance, as the league’s second automatic representative, to the NAIA National Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on April 22-24). If the regular season champion (Morningside) wins the Tournament, the regular season runner-up (Briar Cliff) will receive the second NAIA berth to the postseason.
