Jamestown  wins over University of  St. Mary 3-0  25-18,25-10,25-14

The Jimmies now advance to the final site stage of the NAIA tournament April 27-May 1 at Sioux City, IA.  as the No. 1 seed.

The Jimmies’ pool play assignment is still to be decided.

CHESTERFIELD, Mo.– (UJ) The tenth-ranked University of Jamestown Division 1 hockey team had their season come to an end Saturday with a 4-0 loss to No. 7 Indiana Tech at the ACHA National Tournament.

BISMARCK, N.D.  (UJ) — Four second-period goals proved to be the difference as the University of Jamestown Division 2 hockey team lost 7-4 to Williston State College in the final game of pool play at the ACHA National Tournament.

The Jimmies’ season comes to an end as Iowa State University wins the pool and advances to the semifinals.

The University of Jamestown baseball team had trouble getting its offense going on Saturday, losing three games to Mount Marty (S.D.) University at Jack Brown Stadium. Scores were 3-2, 4-0, and 8-6.

The teams amended the weekend schedule to three seven-inning games Saturday and a single nine-inning game on Sunday instead of regularly scheduled doubleheaders each day. Due to an inclement weather forecast for Sunday, the fourth game was cancelled.

The University of Jamestown softball team was shut out in back-to-back games for the first time this season, losing Saturday afternoon to Midland (Neb.) University 5-0 and 10-0 in five innings.
