Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Jul 8, 2013) The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) Board of Directors has approved the 2014 budget.
The budget increase is from $400,000 in 2013 to $415,000 in 2014.
Stutsman County’s share is $83,000, and the City of Jamestown provides $332,000, with the dollars coming from the half percent sales tax dedicated to jobs development.
JSDC CEO Connie Ova says, the overall increase is about 3.5 percent.
The wage line item shows a 5 percent increase.
The budget must be approved by the Stutsman County Commission and Jamestown City Council.
The JSDC board approved selling a lot in the I-94 Business Park to Buffalo City Diesel as part of an expansion project.
The business is plans to add another building for additional service space and parts inventory, and will add three to four employees.
