Update… Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The James River Humane Society, and Prairie Paws Rescue in Jamestown benefited from a total of $3,500 raised from Saturday’s Zombie Crawl in Jamestown. About 60 people participated in the event. Dollars raised by those individuals plus raffle sales, T- shirt sales, and donations from participating pubs were in the totals.

This year. the majority of the proceeds will go to The James River Humane Society and the balance going to Prairie Paws Rescue. Next year the plan is to hold another Zombie Crawl with the majority of the proceeds going to Prairie Paws Rescue, and the balance to The James River Humane Society.

On Wednesday’s (Jul 24, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Zombie Crawl creators Johnny Jerome and Joel Grant said participants are in “zombie” costumes going from bar to bar similar to Runnin’ O’ The Green in Jamestown.
T-shirts are available at The Corner Bar, and Leon’s Bridal for $15 with the proceeds also going to The James River Humane Society, and Prairie Paws Rescue.
The Zombie Crawl starts at the registration point, the Knight’s of Columbus Hall, and continues to The Office Bar, then to Shady’s at the Gladstone Inn & Suites, the Wonder Bar and concludes at The Corner Bar.
About $3,000 in prizes for the crawl, have been donated by businesses and organization, who are listed on the back of the T-shirts…. including Twins Tickets, and Mall of America Passes.
A two dollar raffle prize to support the shelter, and Prairie Paws, is for a DLP T.V. Must be present to win, the prizes at the drawing at The Corner Bar at about 11:30-p.m.
