Bismarck, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Jul 16, 2013) — The National Register of Historic Places is adding Historic Alderman School District, located about 10 miles north of Valley City.
The school was built in the early 1900’s.
Alderman school closed its doors in 1959 and the district was annexed into Valley City.
Outside of minor repairs, the building remains in nearly original condition.
Entry into the National Register of Historic Places includes benefits including property prestige and federal funding.
