North Dakota Tourism Director Director Sara Otte Coleman and staff met with Jamestown Tourism officials and the Bison World project Organizers updating the project.
They discussed encouraging residents and non-residents to visit the state.
Brian Lunde says they were awaiting Apogee Attractions to complete designs while awaiting the financial report from Eide Bailey, to be used in conjunction with accessing North Dakota Legacy Funding. The project is looking to obtain around $60 million in funding from the Fund.
Pending funding approval, construction could start in the spring of 2022., on 120-acres of State of North Dakota land now used as a pasture for the National Buffalo Museum’s bison herd, with development of a hotel, restaurant, discovery center, gondola skyway, safari tour, and other attractions.
